CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

Using the principles of the Strongfit training program created by Juliean Pineau, we now have Strongman classes designed to work on correcting imbalances and strengthening deficiencies. This program will show quantifiable improvements in your WOD times and your lifing PRs. Pair the raw power techniques of pushing/pulling weight sleds, heavy overhead carries and other power moves with your CrossFit training and you will see major improvements.

CrossFit ACR is devoted to your body staying in a healty state. Every workout begins and ends with mobility. Mobility in CrossFit refers to restoring proper joint movement. Additionaly, 1 hour every Thursday is devoted solely to mobility. If you are struggling with your form in any of the CrossFit movements, use that time to get assistance.
Kids are no different than the adults!
Their bodies want to move whether they are in a sport, at home, or on the playground!. They crave it! Our kids program builds an overall foundation for fitness, building strength, confidence, improving stability, and agility through low skill movements (low WES (Weight-bearing, Eccentric, Skill), high intensity, body weight movements) with apparatuses such as sleds, sandbags, & farmer carries.
Some of the biggest concerns for kids and weight training are adding loads to a child's spine and structure too early, causing harm and damage for the long-term. Go back 150 years and kids would have been working on a farm: milking cows, bailing hay, carrying water buckets/feed, etc. AKA strength training; this is the focus of this program.
This program provides the user the exercises, programming, games, and formatting that is proven to be successful with youth ages 4-12 years old in 45-50 minute classes, twice per week, while incorporating the latest StrongFit concepts and principles geared specifically towards the youth.

This is for advanced athletes looking for an edge OR anyone who works out to someone who is afraid of getting back to working out because of those pains, past surgeries or someone that works out and has a constant ache or pains. Can't hurt to see a trained coach pinpoint an issue you are living with and help improve your daily life.
Duo pumpkin smash
The Duo Pumpkin Smash is an annual CrossFit partner competition hosted by CrossFit ACR. 2 person team events with fun and challenging workouts. Great prize packages for podium finishers!
